Cancellations and Weather Policy:

Deposits are fully refundable no later than one month calendar date before the trip. After the one month window cancellations/date changes  will only be made at the captains discretion. Cancellations  less than 30 days from the trip will result in forfeiting of the deposit by the client. Cancellations otherwise can either be refunded or rescheduled. If we cannot fit you in before the end of the season your deposit will be refunded. Typically, but not always, weather cancellations are withing 3 days of the trip. We hate having to wait on the weather as much as you do. We try to accommodate everyone but our full schedule only allows for so much movement. Thank you for understanding.

Do we get to keep the fish?

Yes, clients keep all of their fish unless its a giant bluefin tuna. Federal law mandates that giant bluefins (over 73 inches) need to be sold.

What are your payment options?

We do accept all credit cards, paypal or venmo but there will be a 3.5% fee that we are charged that will be pushed to the customer for using any of these services. Besides cash we do not accept any other forms of payment.

What time do we leave the dock?

Most inshore trips leave at 5 a.m. and most offshore trips leave at 3 a.m. for day trips. Night bass charters typically leave the dock at 5 p.m. but can change with tide or weather.  No checks please.

What do I need to bring?

1. Food and drink for the day. We ask that you consolidate as much as possible. Full crews of 6 all bringing coolers makes for a really right cockpit.

2. Dress for the weather! Foul weather gear if necessary. Yes, we have cover but you need to step outside to actually catch fish.

3. Sunblock. SPRAY SUNBLOCK WILL BE THROWN AWAY! Spray sunblock leaves over spray oils which do not come off on our fishing gear - fish will see it and smell it. We put a lot of time and money into giving you the best gear we can so please respect it.

Alcohol Policy:

We want you to have fun. With that being said, there is A LOT of things that can go bad offshore really fast. Big fish, big teeth and far from home. We ask that you bring some celebration drinks for the ride in but please do not plan on drinking alcohol the entire day. There are several thousands of dollars invested in gear and you do not want to be responsible for losing or breaking something due to being under the influence. There is no ambulance and the dock is typically about 2 hours away. If a client becomes out of hand we will return to the dock and there will be no refund.

Do I need to bring my own gear?

No, but you are welcome to bring whatever gear you have. We supply you with top quality rods, reels and tackle. You will be hard pressed to find a charter that outfits you better. We want the fish in the boat probably more than you do!

What if I break or drop a rod/reel over the side?

Clients are responsible for their actions. Clients will be billed for broken equipment due to negligence at the cost of replacement to Blue Line Charters. We completely understand that gear failures happen.

What if I, or one of my crew, get sea sick?

We turn around when you tell us to or someone becomes so sick that there is a medical concern. Once the boat leaves the dock the full fare is due. If you think you or someone in your crew will get sick then we recommend taking Dramamine at least 24 hours before we depart. It will not work if its not in your system. Taking it the morning of or while you are on the boat will not help.

Where can we stay overnight?

Accommodations in downtown Watch Hill can be extremely pricey. Many clients stay nearby at the casinos or surrounding towns.
